The Y allows its members to put their membership on hold one time a year for 2-4 months. Hold requests must be completed by the 25th of the month preceding the hold. There is a $10 a month fee that will be processed when your form is turned in. While on hold, facility usage is denied and member program pricing is not available. Your account must be in good standing to place your membership on hold. Please see the front desk staff for more information.

Membership Cancellation

Our memberships are month to month. You can cancel your membership at any time. Membership cancellation requests must be completed by the 25th of the preceding month you wish to stop your membership.

Check In & Membership Cards

All members and visitors are required to check-in at the front desk. Members must present and/or swipe their membership card. YMCA members are issued a membership card which must be presented with each visit. If a card is forgotten or misplaced the member must check-in at desk for membership verification. Lost cards can be replaced for a fee of $5.

Daily users must sign-in and sign a guest waiver form.

These efforts help us to protect your safety and ensure responsible individuals are using the YMCA.

Accidents and Valuables

The YMCA is not responsible for any accidents. All individuals participate at their own risk. Please immediately report any accident or emergency to the front desk. Staff is trained to assist in emergency situations.

The YMCA is not responsible for personal property that is lost, damaged, or stolen. Please lock your belongings in a locker. Locks may not be left on a locker past the length of your visit. Locks left overnight will be cut off by staff; contents will be kept for pickup.

We have a lost and found bench in the same hallway as the locker rooms. The Welcome Center also has a lost and found for small, electronic, or valuable items.

Nationwide Membership

Over 1,000 YMCA's across the country are a part of the Nationwide program. If you are visiting or traveling through a city with a participating YMCA, you can show your membership card and be treated as a member of that Y. Some facilities may charge a fee. Other YMCA members may use the YMCA Dillon Community Center by presenting their out-of-town Y card. A fee may apply.

The Cadillac Area Y honors the Nationwide program.

SEX OFFENDER POLICY

In the interest of maintaining an environment that is safe for members, employees, and visitors, the Cadillac Area YMCA prohibits access to its facilities and/or grounds to Registered Sex Offenders. Any individual known to be listed on any state or national sexual offender registry shall be denied access to the YMCA Dillon Community Center and Cadillac Area YMCA program venues.
