You could say I like to dance. I don’t mind a captive audience either…That’s why I teach! With a theater background, it was quite natural for me to teach along with my natural connection with children. I’ve been in education for 20 years this fall. I’ve taught Kindergarten, 3rd, 5th grade, college courses and now STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) at Lincoln Elementary School in Cadillac. I haven’t always lived in Michigan though. I moved from Long Beach to LeRoy for love! I’ve been married and living here in Michigan for over 15 years. My husband John and I live on Stoneledge Lake with our two children Allison (14), and John Boy (6). My children have participated in many YMCA programs such as swim classes, gymnastics, water safety and more.  I’m honored and excited to be involved in this fundraiser. I am passionate about getting children actively involved in the community and can’t wait to shake my tailfeather to raise some money for the Y!
